For the help and guidance of Deaf people from city, a NGO ‘Deaf Association of Rajkot’ has formed.
In Rajkot city and district many Deaf children and youngsters are facing problems like marriage, feeling of neglecting, unemployment, and education etc since long. To answer all these problems and to avail them with basic scientific and technological facilities and to help them out as a guide, mentor and friend a NGO ‘Deaf Association of Rajkot’ was launched on 5th June 2011 at a function held at Arvind Maniar Auditorium in Rajkot.
The function has inaugurated at 4.30 pm on 5th June by lightening traditional lamp by the Mayor of Rajkot Shri Janakbhai Kotak. Editor of Divya Bhaskar Shri Kanabhai Bantwa, Trustee of Viran Deaf School of Rajkot Shri Hasmukhbhai Joshi, Principal Shri Kanubhai Pancholi and organizer shri Pankajbhai Muchala remained present at the function. Well wisher of family, Shri Dinubhai Pancholi, Prnincipal of Bahuchar Vidhyalaya and Shri Lakshmikant Pancholi gave word of blessings in their speeches.
